How this site is written.

Where topics come from

We cover the questions traders actually ask — mechanics, costs, and risk — prioritizing the ones where the honest answer differs most from the marketing answer.

Standards every article must meet

• No invented numbers. Fees, funding mechanics and exchange rules are checked against primary documentation and, where possible, our own live trading data. When a figure can't be verified, we generalize honestly instead.
• Risk first. Every strategy article states how it loses money, not just how it wins. "Most retail bots lose after costs" appears wherever it is true — which is often.
• No profit promises. Nothing on this site predicts returns or recommends buying any asset.
• Sources are real. Citations link to exchange documentation, regulators, and established references — never fabricated studies.

Review and updates

Articles carry their last-updated date. Market mechanics change (fee tiers, funding formulas, platform features) and articles are revised when they do. Corrections: per@markusakerlund.com — verified errors are fixed with priority.

Our copy-trading index runs 24/7 on real capital with position caps, gross leverage limits, daily loss brakes and a drawdown kill switch. We publish the mechanics of that system across these guides because running money is the only credential that matters in this niche.
